Israeli occupation forces shot dead on Tuesday morning Palestinian man near illegal West Bank settlement of Ariel, in the peripheries of northern West Bank city of Salfit.

Palestinian medical sources reported Israeli officials telling them that an unidentified Palestinian mand was shot dead at a military checkpoint in Salfit.

Meanwhile, the Israeli occupation army alleged that the Palestinian attempted to stab soldiers at an intersection when he was shot by several bullets and left bleeding on the ground.

Eyewitnesses reiterated that the Palestinian man was shot several times in different parts of his body, and he was left bleeding to death.
