Israeli occupation floods 500 agriculture dunums east Gaza

For the second time during this month, the Israeli occupation forces opened rainwater ferries on farmers' lands.

The Israeli occupation forces opened rainwater ferries east of the Shejaiya neighborhood in Gaza City, which led to the flooding of more than 500 agricultural dunums as a preliminary estimate until the moment, Thursadys` morning. 

The Ministry of Agriculture said that the Israeli occupation opened the rainwater ferries and caused hundreds of dunums of agriculture to flood.

The ministry pointed that there are significant losses and direct and indirect damages to Palestinian farmers' lands that have been flooded with water.

It is noteworthy that this is the second time within a month that the Israeli occupation forces opened rainwater ferries on farmers' lands.

Israreli occupation forces open water ferryboats in the east of Gaza Strip every winter which led to great damage to agricultural lands, citizens' homes and their facilities.
