The Palestinian detainees, Muhammad Sharqiya and Omar Abu al-Rub, from Jenin, entered new years in the Israeli occupation jail on Saturday.

The director of the detainee club in Jenin, Montaser Sammour, said that the detainee, Muhammad Sharqiya from the town of Yamoun in the West has entered his 21st year in an Israeli jail, and he is sentenced to 23 years, while the detainee, Abu al-Rub from the town of Jalboun in the east entered his 15th year in the Israeli jail, and he is sentenced to a lifetime in jail.

He added that the Israeli occupation authorities prevented their families from visiting them for long periods, and isolated them unilaterally as part of the policy of arbitrary punishment practiced against the Palestinian detainees.
