Israeli occupation forces prevented the Palestinians of West Bank from reaching the Al-Aqsa Mosque in occupied Jerusalem, to perform Friday prayer.

Israeli occupation forces set up police checkpoints at the entrances to the Old City and the gates of Al-Aqsa Mosque, and checked the identities of arrivals through the Al-Amoud Gate, and prevented Palestinian citizens who hold West Bank IDs from reaching Al-Aqsa Mosque, according to Palestinian sources.

Israeli occupation detained 321 Palestinians in the Old City of Jerusalem, claiming that they do not have entry permits.

Israeli occupation authorities prevent Palestinians from the West Bank and Gaza Strip from entering Jerusalem to pray at the Al-Aqsa Mosque, except after obtaining special permits from the Israeli army, which are not issued except for special cases or for the purpose of work.
