Israeli occupation forces shot, wounded 126 Palestinian protesters during 64th Friday of Great March of Return, including 39 children, two women, five paramedics and two journalists.
Local medical sources said that 41 of the wounded were shot by live rounds; eight of them sustained critical wounds.
Al-Mezan Centre for Human Rights described the Israeli crackdown on the protesters of the Great March of Return and Breaking the Siege in Gaza as “violent.”
“Israeli occupation forces used excessive and lethal force in their crackdown on the peaceful protesters on the 64th Friday of the protests,” the rights group said.
As of the 64th Friday, the Israeli occupation has killed 310 Palestinian protesters, including 44 children, two women, nine disabled, four paramedics and two journalists, Al-Mezan said.
In addition, it said that 17,106 protesters have been wounded, including 4,015 children, 764 women, 203 paramedics and 171 journalists.
