Palestinian girl, mother detained by Israeli forces in West Bank

The mother has two children left alone.

Israeli occupation forces detained on Monday morning two Palestinian women in West Bank cities of Bethlehem Al-Khalil, security sources said.

In the town of Taqou in the souteast of Bethlehem, the Israeli occupation forces detained Shorouq Mohammad al-Badan, 25, after raiding and searching her parents’ home.

Al-Badan is married and a mother of two. No reason was given for her detention.

In Al-Khalil, Israeli occupation forces detained Rawan abu-Sneineh, 17, as she passed a military checkpoint near the illegal settlement of Kiryat Arba and took her to an undisclosed location.

The Israeli occupation army claimed she had a knife, but eyewitnesses denied this claim and said she was detained even before she was searched.
