Man succumbs to wounds sustained in Israeli airstrike in Gaza

His little daughter, who lost her mother, brothers and sisters in the attack and is still in hospital, has not been informed about his death.

On Friday morning, ninth member of Sawarka family succumbed to his wounds, which he sustained in Israeli airstrike in Gaza last week, ministry of health announced.

Mohammad Salem Sawarka, 40, was pronounced dead of the wounds he sustained in an Israeli aerial bombing of his home on 14 November, which massacred eight members of the same family at the time.

Over 36 Palestinians, most of them children and women, were killed in the Israeli airstrikes across the Gaza Strip during the aggression last week which lasted for three days.

Spokesman of the Israeli occupation army bragged about killing a resistance leader when the Israeli jets bombed the house.

Later on, when the bombing appeared to have targeted a 21-member family lived in a tin shack, the Israeli army said it was a mistake.

In such cases, no Israeli soldeirs or officials are sent to courts or punished.
