Israeli occupation forces opened fire at peaceful Palestinian protesters in Gaza, wounding 37, including women and children, Palestinian Ministry of Health reported.
The Ministry of Health said in a statement that 10 children were among the wounded and one paramedic from the Palestinian Red Crescent Society.
According to the statement, four of the wounded suffered moderate to serious injuries.
Palestinians resumed their weekly protests along the eastern fence of Gaza in protest against the 13-year-old Israeli siege and to reinforce the right of return for the Palestinians who were displaced from their homes by the Zionist Jewish gangs in 1948.
Since the start of the demonstrations, the Israeli occupation forces have killed more than 315 protesters and wounded about 30,000 others.
