Palestinian prisoner in Israeli jails Ahmad Zahran has been taken to hospital on day 90 of his hunger strike, demanding an end to his illegal administrative detention.

The PLO’s Palestinian Prisoners’ Commission (PPC) that Zahran was taken to hospital very in critical condition last week as he had lost 30 kilogrammes of his weight.

An Israeli military court was supposed to consider Zahran’s case on Thursday, but postponed it until Monday despite his deteriorating condition, said the PPC.

Zahran, 42, from the Ramallah village of Deir Abu Mishaal, is a father of four children. He was detained in March this year.

He has served a total of 15 years in prisons for resisting the Israeli occupation.
