Trump gives Jerusalem to Israel, promise tiny non-sovereign state for Palestinians

This proposed Palestinian state would have no army and would not be permitted to forge deals or alliances with any other state. It would have no control over its borders, crossings, airspace or sea.

US President Donald Trump announced on Tuesday evening his long-waited peace deal for the Israeli Palestinian conflict, giving Jerusalem to Israel and tiny non-sovereign state to Palestinians.

The deal states that all of the occupied city of Jerusalem would be under full Israeli control, Jordan would be stripped of administering the Islamic holy sites and the Palestinians would be given a symbolic access to Al Aqsa Mosque.

Israel, according to the deal, would extend its sovereignty over most of the illegal Jewish settlement in the occupied West Bank, leaving separated chunks of land for the potential Palestinian state, which will have a very small neighbourhood in Jerusalem as its capital.

Adding to this, the deal would see a Palestinian state without army, without control of its airspace, ground crossings or sea.

This state would have no army and would not be permitted to forge deals or alliances with any other state. It would have no control over its borders, crossings, airspace or sea.

Trump’s deal described the legitimate Palestinian resistance as “malign activities” and the Palestinian resistance factions as “terror groups” that must be demilitarised, while safety of the nuclear occupation state of Israel must be guaranteed.

Palestine refugees will be stripped of their right of return and even will have no compensation. The UN Agency for Palestine Refugees (UNRWA) will be dissolved.

Separated crumbs, which would compose the possible Palestinian state would be connected to each other via tunnels or bridges.

After all of this, some Israeli officials accepted it with some reservations and some rejected it completely, pledging they would never allow any kind of a Palestinian state.

There's no childhood in occupied Palestine

Childhood normally means innocence, fun, freedom and love, but this is not for Palestinian children in Gaza, who speak and understand politics almost from day one.
