Three boys among 16 Palestinians detained by Israel in West Bank, Jerusalem

Israeli occupation forces kidnapped 496 Palestinians in January, including 67 boys and 16 women, rights group said.

Israeli occupation forces kidnapped on Tuesday night 16 Palestinians from several areas across the occupied West Bank and Jerusalem, including three boys, the Palestinian Prisoner Society (PPS) reported.

It said that the Israeli occupation forces kidnapped three 16-year-old boys and three adults from the East Jerusalem neighbourhoods of Silwan and Al Tor along with the Old City.

The PPS also said that Israeli occupation forces kidnapped three Palestinians from the southern West Bank city of Al Khalil.

In Ramallah town of Beitunia, Israeli occupation special units kidnapped three brothers from Rashid family before later releasing two.

Meanwhile, in Bethlehem, Israeli occupation military stormed Azza refugee camp where soldiers kidnapped a Palestinian man.

In the northern West Bank, local sources said a military occupation force raided Beit Furik town, east of Nablus, and kidnapped a former Palestinian prisoner.

A similar raid was conducted in Qalqilya district where the occupation soldiers kidnapped two Palestinians, including a former prisoner who spent five years in Israeli prisons.

Two teens were also kidnapped from the city of Jenin and another from Tulkarm refugee camp.

According to the PPS, the Israeli occupation forces kidnapped 496 Palestinians in January, including 67 boys and 16 women.

Israel damages 100,000 coronavirus swabs

Israeli occupation damaged 100,000 swabs for coronavirus after preventing the passage of clinical materials from Jordan to the West Bank, Palestinian Health Minister Mai Keela said on Wednesday.
