Israeli occupation forces executed on Saturday morning young Palestinian youth at the entrance of Al Aqsa Mosque in the holy city of Jerusalem.
Eyewitnesses said that the Israeli occupation forces prevented anyone from helping the Palestinian youth who suffered serious injuries.
Palestinian sources identified the martyr as Maher Yousef Za’atreh from Jabal al Mukabber in Jerusalem.
The Israeli TV Channel 12 claimed that the youth attempted to stab Israeli policemen as he approached them raising a knife in his hand.
However, the eyewitnesses said that an Israeli officer called on the Palestinian youth and refused to allow him enter without raising his hands up.
“So that, he [the Palestinian youth] was walking towards the Israeli policemen raising his hands,” one of the eyewitnesses told Palestine Post 24.
The eyewitness stressed that the Palestinian youth did not hold a knife or even anything in his hands.
