Sixteen additional Palestinians were wounded by Israeli occupation forces, two of them in serious condition.

A 15-year-old Palestinian boy has been shot dead by Israeli occupation forces in West Bank city of Nablus where Palestinians have been peacefully protesting against expropriation of their lands.

The Palestinian Ministry of Health also reported that 16 other Palestinians were wounded, including two fighting for their lives.

Reports from the Ministry of Health named the dead Palestinian boy as Mohammed abdul Karim Hamayil, 15.

On Wednesday, the Palestinians gathered on Al Arma Mountain in the village of Bita in the West Bank city of Nablus in order to protest against the Israeli settlers stealing of their lands.

The Israeli occupation settlers, who have been trying to steal the Palestinian land, live in the illegal Israeli settlement of Itmar.

Yossi Dagan, the head of Shomron Settlement Council, was among the settlers, who went to demarcate the Palestinian land they planned to add to the illegal settlement.

On Wednesday at dawn, Israeli occupation forces arrived in the area in order to end the protest and clear the area ahead of the settler arrival.

They shot tear gas heavily at the Palestinian protesters, who insisted to remain in their farms in order to undermine the settlers’ plan.

In the morning, the Jewish settlers raided the site and started skirmishes with the Palestinian protesters under the protection of the Israeli occupation forces.

At a certain point, the Israeli occupation forces opened live ammunition to push the Palestinians away. At this time, the Palestinian boy was wounded and then pronounced dead.
