Israeli tanks infiltrate Gaza border, raze farmland

Israeli occupation forces opened live fire and shot teargas at Palestinian farmers working in their farmlands.

Israeli occupation military tanks today infiltrated northern Gaza borders east of Jabalya and razed Palestinian farmland, witnesses reported.

Several tanks breached the border and razed Palestinian farmland as fire was shot in the air to cover their withdrawal.

Meanwhile, the Israeli occupation forces opened live fire and shot teargas at Palestinian farmers working in their lands in the town of Khuzaa, east of the southern Gaza Strip city of Khan Younis.

The farmers were forced to flee their farms before anyone was hurt.

Israeli occupation army has set an area of 300 meters inside Gaza as buffer zone that swallowed thousands of dunams of Palestinian farmlands.

The Israeli army opens fire without warning at Palestinians who get close to this buffer zone which consists of their own lands.
