Israel offered to send humanitarian aid to Lebanon to deal with consequences of explosion at Port of Beirut, but this might be the guise to harvest organs like what happened in Haiti.
On Wednesday, Israeli Defence Minister Benny Gantz and Foreign Minister Gabi Ashkenazi issued a joint statement to say that Israel approached Lebanon through international defence and diplomatic channels to offer the government humanitarian aid.
Meanwhile, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu instructed National Security Council head Meir Ben-Shabbat to speak with UN Special Coordinator for the Middle East Peace Process Nickolay Mladenov in order to clarify how Israel can further assist Lebanon.
Israeli President Reuven Rivlin offered his condolences for the dead and injured. In a tweet that was posted in Arabic, Hebrew and English, Rivlin wrote: “We share the pain of the Lebanese people and sincerely reach out to offer our aid at this difficult time.”
But humanitarian offers might be the guise that Israel would use to cover potential organs harvesting like what allegedly happened in Haiti more than a decade ago or at least to collect intelligence material.
