This is not the first time that Israel bombs schools. During Israeli offensive on Gaza in 2008/9, Israeli occupation bombed UN-run school with white phosphorus, causing over 100 deaths and several hundreds wounded.

Israeli aircraft bombed on Thursday night several places in Gaza, including children’s UN-run school in the north-western side of the besieged enclave.

Palestinian Interior Ministry said that an Israeli war drone launched a missile at Al Shate’ Elementary School for Boys in the West of Gaza.

The UN Agency for Palestine Refugees (UNRWA) confirmed that an Israeli war drone bombed one of its schools located in Al Shate’ Refugee Camp in the northwest of Gaza City.

No human casualties were reported in the attack, but security and UN sources reported material damage.

Due to insecure situation, the UNRWA said that it closed its school until the remains of the missile is removed the damage is repaired.

It is worth noting that the Israeli occupation claimed it attacked military targets in Gaza belonged to the Palestinian Resistance Movement Hamas, but this proves that the Israeli claims were false.

This is not the first time that Israel bombs UN-run school.

One of its attacks took place during the Israeli offensive on Gaza in 2008/9 when Al Fakhoura School was bombed with white phosphorus as civilians were taking refuge inside it.

More than 100 Palestinian civilians were killed and several hundreds were wounded.
