Anti-settlement activists counted hundreds of olive trees cut by the Israeli occupation settlers.

Israeli occupation settlers attacked on Saturday morning Palestinian shepherds, cut olive trees and occupied Palestinian land Palestinian West Bank.

Sources in the West Bank village of Masafer Yatta said that the Israeli occupation settlers from the illegal Maon settlement attacked shepherds as they were grasing their sheep in the open fields.

The settlers, according to the activist Fo’ad La’Mour, forced the shepherded to take their sheep and leave the area.

He also said that Israeli occupation settlers from the illegal Mitpze Yair and Susyia settlements cut hundreds of olive trees in the area.

According to him, the illegal Israeli Jewish settlers, protected by the Israeli occupation forces, expropriated large swathes of Palestinian land in the area.

In the north of the West Bank, Israeli occupation settlers set up a mobile home on Palestinian land in the town of Beita, near the illegal settlement named 777.

Such a measure is often the first step in stealing Palestinian lands and building more settlement units on it, activist Ghassan Daghlas, who monitors settlement activities in the north of the West Bank, said.
