Such attacks, which are backed by the Israeli government, take place almost every day.

Armed Israeli Jewish settlers attacked on Monday morning Palestinian farmer and caused him multiple bruises in his face and upper parts of his body, eyewitnesses said.

The eyewitnesses identified the Palestinian farmers as Usama Hamdan, noting that he was attacked while working in his land in Asira al-Qiblya village, south of northern West Bank city of Nablus.

Israeli Jewish settlers descended from the illegal Israeli Jewish settlement of Yitzhar, which was built in violation of the international law.

Hamdan was admitted to hospital in Nablus as a result, Palestinian medical sources told Wafa news agency, noting he sustained light injuries.
