Cancer patient among 13 Palestinians detained by Israel in West Bank

Patient Palestinian prisoners in Israeli jails are denied proper medical services so that their health conditions deteriorate dramatically. Many of them dies due to lack of medical treatment.

Israeli occupation forces detained on Monday 13 Palestinians, including cancer patient from various parts of occupied Palestinian West Bank, Palestinian Prisoner Society (PPS) said.

Most of the 13 Palestinians detained tonight are former prisoners and served different terms inside Israeli occupation jails.

In Bethlehem in the south of the West Bank, Israeli soldiers arrested 46-year-old Nidal Abu Ahour, a former prisoner who is suffering from cancer and kidney failure.

Nidal Abu Ahour was released from prison in July after a serious deterioration in his health.

As of September, rights groups said that there were more than 450 patients among the Palestinian prisoners inside the Israeli jails.

They are denied proper medical services so that their health conditions deteriorate dramatically inside the Israeli jails.
