‘The United States of America should not be bankrolling ethnic cleansing,’ the brave Congresswoman said.

American Congresswoman Ilhan Omar criticised on Friday Israel’s demolition of 80 Palestinian homes in occupied West Bank.

“This a grave crime—in direct violation of international law,” Omar tweeted. “If they used any US equipment it also violates US law,” she added.

Omar commented on AP tweeting a report about the Israeli demolition of 80 Palestinian homes almost a complete village in Jordan Valley, West Bank.

“Israel's army has demolished the homes of nearly 80 Palestinian Bedouins in the occupied West Bank, officials and witnesses said Wednesday, in a rare operation targeting an entire community at once,” AP said.

The Congresswoman stated that “an entire community is now homeless and will likely experience lifelong trauma.”

She stressed: “The United States of America should not be bankrolling ethnic cleansing. Anywhere.”
